What the police promise

Fewer counter shifts should free up staff for more patrols in the neighbourhoods, especially on foot and by bike. You can also raise concerns and file reports at the online police post, which now offers video calls, including evenings and weekends. Simple offences such as theft, damage to property or cybercrime can be reported around the clock through the Suisse ePolice form.
